Spend the day doing local sightseeing after breakfast. Munnar, which is 1600 meters above sea level, is located at the meeting point of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. The British administration used to spend their summers in South India at this magnificent highland station. Visits to Kundale Lake, Echo Point, and Mattupetty Dam are among the local tourist attractions in Munnar. In the afternoon, go to Rajamalai to see the “Nilgiri Thars,” the rarest kind of mountain goat. At Munnar, an overnight stay is planned.

After breakfast, leave the hotel and go to the airport or train station in Cochin, depending on where you are leaving from, for your flight or train return home, feeling happy that you got to spend a lovely vacation in God’s Own Country.
